Search engine optimisation (SEO) is simply making it easy for Google to understand what you offer and for customers to find you. You do not need tricks. You need a clear website, accurate local information and a bit of patience.
Write down the words a customer would type: "CCTV installation Palpa", "web design Butwal", "laptop shop near me". Combine what you sell with where you sell it. These local phrases are less competitive than broad ones and bring people who are ready to act.
One page that mentions everything ranks for nothing in particular. A page for each main service or product category, with a clear title, a helpful description and real details, gives Google — and visitors — exactly what they asked for.
A unique title tag (around 50–60 characters) that includes the main phrase and your brand.
A meta description that reads like a good advert for the page.
One main heading (H1) and logical sub-headings.
Descriptive alt text on images and short, readable URLs.
For local businesses, this free listing often matters as much as the website. Keep your name, address, phone number, hours and categories accurate and consistent everywhere they appear.
Most local searches happen on phones. A slow or awkward mobile site loses customers and weakens your position in results.
Google Search Console is free. Verify your site, submit your sitemap, and watch which searches bring impressions and clicks. It tells you what is working and what pages have problems.
